Meet the Winter 2024 Providence Journal All-State first teamers — all of them — right now

Providence Journal

The Providence Journal is proud to announce its 2024 Winter All-State teams.

Typically, The Journal releases one team per day over the course of the week — both on our website and in print. But this season, we're changing things up a bit. All of the winter teams are being unveiled online this morning. We enjoyed unprecedented attendance at our All-States photo sessions at The Journal's downtown office, which means photographers Kris Craig and David DelPoio were able to get photos for just about every member of the boys and girls All-State teams.

But we didn't do it alone. The Journal wants to thank Francesco's Pizzeria on Hope Street for making the photo shoot more of an event than usual by providing pizza for the student-athletes at each of our four photo sessions.

All the First Team All-State members — selected by The Journal Sports staff — are now nominees for players of the year in their respective sports, with those to be announced at our live show on Thursday, June 27, at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium. Nominated athletes who RSVP will receive a complimentary ticket to the event thanks to sponsors. Details on how additional tickets can be obtained will be available soon. For more information about the show and to opt into email updates, and you can also follow it on Facebook.

Below, you'll find links to all of our Winter All-State teams, along with when the teams will appear in the pages of The Providence Journal newspaper this week and next.
